CDA Foundation Grant Program

The CDA Foundation Grant Program offers financial support to a wide variety of community oral health projects. These programs are often the only safety net for families to receive dental care services. While most community organizations receive some state and federal funding, much of the care provided is uncompensated. Many different types of organizations are supported through the CDA Foundation’s Grant Program including community dental clinics, mobile dental services, and prevention education activities. By supporting local efforts to expand access to care through financial grants, the CDA Foundation is able to  effectively partner with local organization’s to enhance their ability to positively impact the most vulnerable people across the state.

The CDA Foundation receives over $1 million in grant requests from more than 40 community organizations each year. Grants are awarded on a merit basis of up to $25,000.  Less than 10% of the requests can be funded right now.

The CDA Foundation Grant Program is funded by Friends of the CDA Foundation. When you become a Friend of the CDA Foundation, you join hundreds of other dentist  colleagues, friends, dental team members, and dental businesses that are making a caring difference. Through generous annual giving, Friends help to build the CDA Foundation Grants Program to do more in responding to the needs in the community. As a Friends of the CDA Foundation, your contribution can be put to greater use by collectively leveraging programs that benefit the most vulnerable of people in underserved communities.

With your help, CDA Foundation can reach its goal to provide more than $1,000,000 in support to 40 local organizations annually.
