Mobile Dental Grant Program
The Mobile Dental Grant Program offers financial support to a wide variety of California community mobile oral health projects. These programs are often the only safety net for families to receive dental care services. While most community organizations receive some state and federal funding, much of the care provided is uncompensated. The Mobile Dental Grant Program provides financial grants of up to $10,000 to nonprofit mobile dental projects in California that address either: 1. preventive and referral care (including sealants, fluoride varnishes, and oral health education, and must have a verified referral system in place for those in need of restorative treatment); or 2. restorative care (direct oral health treatment services in California). By supporting local efforts to expand access to care through financial grants, the CDA Foundation is able to effectively partner with local organization’s to enhance their ability to positively impact the most vulnerable people across the state.
The CDA Foundation receives nearly $100,000 in mobile grant requests each year. Grants are awarded on a merit basis of up to $10,000. Less than 30 percent of the requests can be funded right now.
The Mobile Dental Grant Program is currently funded through the generosity of CDA’s subsidiary company TDIC. If you are interested in making a donation toward this grant program, please click the “Contribute” button below.
With your help, CDA Foundation can reach its goal to provide more than $100,000 in support to local organizations in need annually.
