Friends of the CDA Foundation

When individuals care about the people and the charitable causes in their lives, they often express the desire "to make a difference."

The CDA Foundation works to promote optimal oral health by providing much-needed financial resources to agencies and programs that provide access to preventive and restorative dental services in the community.

But the success of these endeavors cannot be effectively accomplished one individual at a time. Rather, a collective effort of dedicated donors like you who are passionate about helping people live healthy, happy lives is how we can "make a difference."

By becoming a Friend of the CDA Foundation, you join many of your dentist colleagues and friends, dental team members, dental organizations, and businesses that are collectively making a caring difference.

Where your gift will make an impact

When you support the Friends of the CDA Foundation, your generous contributions benefit the CDA Foundation Grant Fund Program.

This program provides significant financial support to local oral health service agencies in your community. This program provides up to $25,000 per year for special oral health projects including community treatment clinics, mobile dental programs, and expansion of care. The Foundation’s goal is to provide over $1 million in support to 40 local organizations annually.

  (restorative dentistry for people with HIV/AIDS)
• Brookside Community Health Center – San Pablo
  (oral health education)
• St. Mary’s Interfaith Clinic – Stockton
  (treatment service expansion)
• Del Norte Clinics – Crescent City
  (migrant farm worker oral health education)
• Oral Health Needs Assessment – Harbor Dental Society
  (city-wide oral health surveillance project)
• Riverside Community Hygiene Education Program – Tri-County Dental Society
  (start-up support for new hygiene education program)

Friends of the CDA Foundation Gift Levels

Becoming a Friend of the CDA Foundation is an important step to becoming a partner in the collective ability of dentistry to help improve the oral health of Californians. Enrolling is as easy as making a tax-deductible contribution at any one of the following levels:

New Dentist Friend-$100 annual donation (per years in practice)
Benefactor - $250 quarterly donation
Bronze - $650 quarterly donation
Silver - $1250 quarterly donation
Gold - $2500 quarterly donation
Platinum - $3750 quarterly donation
