71% Increase in New Donor Activity in ‘07The Foundation experienced a whopping 71% increase in new donor activity last year, largely from three initiatives introduced in the third and fourth quarters. The House of Delegates annual raffle and donor solicitation; the quarterly donor mailings and the new line item in the member dues statement contributed to the dramatic increase. Board Member Carol Summerhays, DDS says of the increase “This demonstrates that more and more dentists are learning about the wonderful works of the Foundation and that truly there is a culture of philanthropy within the CDA community.
