Dr. & Mrs. Santos Cortez Host Fiesta Fundraiser

As a member of the Board of Advisors, the CDA Foundation Creating Smiles … Changing Lives campaign cabinet, Santos Cortez, DDS, was challenged at a recent meeting to think of creative ways to encourage friends and colleagues to support the efforts of the Foundation.

“I was inspired by hearing what some of the other advisors were doing to cultivate friends and colleagues” said Dr. Cortez. “What makes the most sense for me is to have a party!”

Dr. Cortez and his wife Susan will be hosting 300ish of their closest friends for a “fiesta” at their new home in Corona California on Saturday evening, November 7. “My wife and I are sharing our home for this event to benefit the CDA Foundation and all the programs it supports.  Ultimately, we know that people, young and old, will have better oral health as a result of our giving,” Dr. Cortez said. “To that end, I encourage all my colleagues to become a "Friend" of the CDA Foundation with the knowledge that their gift will be well put to use resulting in an awesome feeling of giving back to our communities.”
