Dr. Al Fallah examines 16-year old Stephanie. She and her brother Ramses are undergoing a series of treatment to correct Amelogenesis Imperfecta, a genetic condition that impedes the development of enamel. The new Foundation video tells their heartwarming story.
Behind The Scenes: New CDA Foundation Video
Amelogenesis Imperfecta is a genetic condition that impedes the development of enamel. Without enamel on their teeth, 16 year-old twins Stephanie and Ramses have have difficulty eating, brushing their teeth, and are self-conscious about smiling. Not something any teenager needs to be worrying about. Thanks in part to a grant from the CDA Foundation, that’s all about to change.
The CDA Foundation’s latest video A Gift That Matters tells the story of Ramses and Stephanie as examples of the dramatic life changes that happen thanks to our donors like you. The video will make it’s debut this Fall and will then be posted on the CDA Foundation Web site.
“Stephanie and Ramses story is such a compelling one, that when we heard about it though Fresh Start, we knew we had to share it with our donors,” said CDA Foundation Executive Director Jon Roth. “We see first hand that we are making a life changing difference in their lives. And they are just one story.”
Keep watch at cdafoundation.org for the posting of A Gift That Matters.
