In his role as the Executive Director, Jon is responsible for all operational, programmatic, grant-making, and fund development activities, as well as overall operational and financial asset management in the CDA Foundation. He has a bachelor’s in Business Administration from University of Northern Colorado, a Master's Degree in Organizational Development from University of San Francisco, and is a Certified Association Executive with the American Society of Association Executives.
Jennifer is the CDA Foundation Associate Executive Director where she manages the oversight of all fund development activities and public awareness. Her primary responsibility is the management of the Creating Smiles…Changing Lives campaign. Jennifer brings to the CDA Foundation more than ten years of experience in fundraising and program development, public relations, staff development, financial administration, and organizational leadership. Jennifer has a bachelor's in Clinical Psychology from Loyola Marymount University and further education at the Indiana School of Philanthropy where she studied “Principals of Fundraising.”

Rolande is the program director for the California Dental Association Foundation. In this role, she is responsible for program design, planning, and implementation of major program initiatives. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business management, with an emphasis in marketing, from Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts, and her master’s in business administration from Western New England College in Springfield, Massachusetts. Rolande brings more than 10 years of experience in program and project management in both private and public sector industries.
Serving as the Development Director, Individual Giving, Darren has the opportunity to communicate the work of the CDA Foundation and increase the fund development through relationships with the many members of CDA. Promoting the Creating Smiles . . . Changing Lives campaign and giving an opportunity for members to find a meaningful level of involvement is a core initiative that Darren will be pursuing through the coming months. He has more than ten years of fundraising experience in the fields of education and international non-governmental organizations. Darren has a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and an MBA from Azusa Pacific University.

Lorraine has a bachelor’s in Government and Asian Studies from Cornell University and twenty years of experience in social service and health care fundraising. As Development Director, Grants, Lorraine oversees relationships with current and potential grant funders in collaboration with the executive director. She identifies funding prospects, develops program proposals, and manages foundation and corporate foundation grants.

Brittney has a bachelor’s in Speech Communications from Cal Poly State University and her professional background includes 10 years of program/event management for retail and nonprofit organizations on a statewide and national level. As Program Manager, Brittney oversees programs such as the Pediatric Oral Health Access Program (POHAP), Geriatric Oral Health Access Program (GOHAP) and Dental Professionals Against Violence, as well as various smaller pilot projects.
Jolene is the CDA Foundation Grants Administrator. She has a bachelor’s in Communication Studies from California State University, Sacramento and brings a wealth of knowledge to the table from her seven years of experience working for nonprofit associations. Jolene is responsible for overseeing all CDA Foundation scholarship and grant-making programs, and works very closely with volunteer leadership to cultivate these programs and determine where to apply grant funding to have in the most community impact.
As Development Administrator, Melissa will provide support to the Foundation’s development team as well as manage and enter incoming gifts and grants. Melissa joined the Foundation staff bringing with her extensive experience in the coordination, planning, and support of daily operational and administrative functions from various employers in both public and private sectors. She is attending the University of Maryland where she is studying Communications..

Jenifer has a bachelor’s in Management from Saint Mary's College and more than 13 years experience as an executive assistant at a governmental agency. She has been with the CDA Foundation since January 2008. In her role as the Executive Assistant, she provides administrative support to the Executive Director, Associate Executive Director and board of directors of the CDA Foundation.
In her role as a Marketing and Communications Specialist for CDA, Michele’s primary focus is the CDA Foundation and building awareness of the Foundation, its programs and resource needs. She holds a bachelor’s in Journalism and Public Relations from California State University, Chico and brings with her more than 25 years experience in marketing communications for corporations and nonprofit organizations.
