Dental Education Scholarships

Ensuring a sustainable oral health workforce is crucial to reducing barriers to and expanding the availability of oral health services for all Californians, particularly as the needs of California’s underserved and culturally-diverse communities expand. One of the ways the CDA Foundation addresses this issue is through educational scholarships.

The Foundation’s scholarship programs support dental students, recent graduates, and students enrolled in dental auxiliary programs in California by providing financial awards to apply toward their dental education expenses. Supporting student achievement helps provide an opportunity for students to succeed in their academic programs and increase career opportunities in both traditional and nontraditional practice settings, such as clinics in underserved communities. The CDA Foundation is committed to raising funds to continue supporting students enrolled in dental programs in California.
