West Sacramento Residents Begin Receiving Fluoridated Water

The CDA Foundation strongly supports the fluoridation of community drinking water sources and to date has successfully facilitated funding for fluoridation, serving more than 26 million Californians. That success resulted in the Foundation acting in an advisory role to the city of West Sacramento to begin receiving fluoridated water for its more than 11,000 residents.

Their tenacity and hard work will pay off Monday, May 19 when West Sacramento begins receiving water fluoridation. They expect to be at optimum levels by Monday, May 26.

The project is funded by the California Endowment, First 5 Yolo, the Sacramento District Dental Foundation, Sierra Health Foundation, Yolo County and the Yolo County Dental Health Foundation. The CDA Foundation congratulates the success of their efforts.
